After graduating with a B.Sc. in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry (MPC) from Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, Dr. (Ms.) Y. Lakshmi Naidu pursued her Master’s in Applied Mathematics at Sri Padmavati Mahila Viswavidyalayam, Tirupati. She continued at the same university for her doctoral research in the field of Graph Theory and was awarded her Ph.D. in 1999.
Since then, she has been associated with the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at SSSIHL as a faculty member. She also served as the Head of the Department for two years and is currently working as an Associate Professor in the department.
