Dr. Sripada Lakshminath works in the area of Organic Synthesis. He graduated with a B.Sc (Hons) in Chemistry in 1994 followed by an M.Sc. in Chemistry in 1996 from Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning. He obtained his Ph.D. degree from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, working on exploring the Norbornyl building block for the synthesis of Natural Products and Analogues under the guidance of Prof. Goverdhan Mehta. He carried out Postdoctoral research at North Carolina State University, working on the synthesis of combinatorial libraries using Microwave assisted cyclotrimerization reactions both on solid support and in solution. He then returned to India and joined the Industry and has over 15 years of research experience working in various capacities for several Contract Research Organizations in Hyderabad, India, in the research areas of Organic Synthesis and Analytical Chemistry.
Dr. Sripada Lakshminath currently is the Co-Convener of the Central Research Instruments Facility (CRIF), SSSIHL, Prasanthi Nilayam.
