Qualifications
Dr. Priyam Chaturvedi is a distinguished scholar in Music who earned his Ph.D. from Banasthali Vidyapeeth, Rajasthan, in 2024. Demonstrating academic excellence early in his career, Dr. Chaturvedi qualified for the UGC NET in December 2019. His academic journey in music began with a B.A. in Music from Raja Maan Singh Tomar University, Gwalior (M.P.), where he excelled from 2014 to 2017. He further honed his skills and knowledge by completing an M.A. in Music (Vocal) at the same university in 2019.
Dr. Chaturvedi’s deep connection with music includes his formative years at the Sathya Sai Mirpuri College of Music, Prashanthi Nilayam (A.P.), where he pursued a Foundation and Diploma Course from 2010 to 2015. Specializing in Hindustani Vocal as his primary discipline and Tabla as his ancillary subject, he graduated with an ‘O’ (Outstanding) grade in both courses. Additionally, he is a “B” Grade artist in Indian Classical Music, recognized by Aakashwani-All India Radio (AIR), PRASAAR BHARATI.
Dr. Chaturvedi is currently serving as Assistant Professor (Hindustani Vocal) in the Department of Performing Arts, SSSIHL
