A Physics graduate from Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, Dr. Rani turned to Literature for a postgraduate degree, which she completed in 1995. In 1996, she joined the Dept. of English Language & Literature at SSSIHL as a faculty member. She passed the National Eligibility Test for Lectureship conducted by the Andhra Pradesh College Service Commission in 1996; completed the Post Graduate Certificate in Teaching of English (PGCTE) from the Central Institute of English & Foreign Languages (CIEFL) in 2002 with ‘A’ grade and received her doctoral degree in 2011 from Sri Krishna Devaraya University, Anantapur.
Currently, she is the Dean of Humanities & Social Sciences and Languages & Literature and the Director of Anantapur Campus, SSSIHL.
