Dr. Muralikrishna is an active researcher at the Dept. of Physics, Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning. He is also a very passionate teacher and teachers Physics to postgraduate students of the department.
He joined the Dept. of Physics as Assistant Professor in June 2012. He completed his B.Sc. (Hons.) in Physics and M. Sc. in Physics (Specialization in Photonics) from Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning in 2008.
He obtained his Doctorate degree from Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning in November 2019.

Classical Mechanics, Quantum Mechanics, Mathematical Physics (Tensor Analysis and Group Theory), Solid State Physics (Energy Band Theory, Magnetism and Superconductivity), Nanoscience and Nanotechnology
Research Interests
Investigation of optical power limiting properties of Metal selenides, Brownmillerites and Nanocomposite materials.
Electronic structure calculations using density functional theory.
Evaluation of electronic transport properties using semiclassical Boltzmann transport theory.
