Dr. Lavanya Rathi P graduated from the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning with a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Physics in 2015. After completing her M.Sc. in Physics from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Tiruchirappalli in 2017, she returned to the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning to pursue her Ph.D. in Physics in the area of magnetic nanoparticles and nanocomposite films. During the course of her doctoral research, she visited and worked at the Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST) under the Sakura Science exchange program in 2018. She completed her Ph.D. in 2022 and joined the Department of Physics as an Assistant Professor. She has a good experience in materials synthesis and characterization and actively pursues research.
