The philosophy of Values-Based Integral Education at SSSIHL is based on the approach of community living wherein each one lives for the other and all live together for a common higher cause.

To facilitate this, the University has a residential system for all students. The environment is similar to the ancient Indian gurukula system of education, in a modern context. Teachers and students live and grow together in an atmosphere of mutual trust and unity.
