DESCRIPTION
The Assistant Professor will teach courses like Operations Management, Management Sciences, Business Analytics, Statistics, TQM, Supply Chain Management, and Project Management. She will also be required to teach basic courses of BCom like Quantitative Techniques, and Business Maths.
Responsibilities include delivering lectures, preparing course materials, evaluating student performance through various assessments, conducting original research, publishing academic articles and books, and presenting findings at conferences. Additionally, the role involves engaging in professional development activities, attending conferences and workshops, and collaborating with peers to enhance research and teaching outcomes.
Beyond academic duties, the Assistant Professor will play a pivotal role in engaging students through extracurricular activities, aligning with our commitment to the Sri Sathya Sai System of values-based integral education.
REQUIREMENTS *
- A Ph.D. in either Commerce / Management
- Must have a relevant and valid NET/SLET/SET qualification
- Must hold an MBA degree at the Master’s level and a B.Tech. degree with a minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) for both degrees. Those with Industry experience will be preferred.
- Must have demonstrated excellence in teaching at the University level
- Must have a proven track record of high-quality research and publications in peer-reviewed (UGC-CARE preferred) journals
- Proficiency in English is necessary to communicate with students effectively
- Appreciation and willingness to live a disciplined life as per the code of conduct of the University, based on the basic human values as enunciated by Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba is essential
