DESCRIPTION
We seek an Assistant Professor who will teach Computer Science courses such as Computer Architecture, Computer Networks, C, C++, Java, Machine Learning, Big-Data Analytics and Data Mining, Data Structures and Algorithms, etc.
He will be required to conduct high-quality research leading to publications in reputable journals, collaborate with other researchers, actively contribute to the academic community through seminars, conferences, and workshops, supervise research projects, mentor students, engage in curriculum development to enhance education quality and organize extracurricular activities to foster a well-rounded academic experience.
Beyond academic duties, the Assistant Professor will play a pivotal role in engaging students through extracurricular activities, aligning with our commitment to the Sri Sathya Sai System of values-based integral education.
REQUIREMENTS *
- A Ph.D. in Computer Science with a specialization in any of the following thrust areas: i) Machine Learning and Data Science ii) Computer Vision iii) Big Data & Data Analytics iv) Block Chain v) Internet of Things from reputed institutions.
- Must have a relevant and valid NET/SLET/SET qualification
- Must have demonstrated excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels or relevant experience in industry & research with reputed institutions
- Must have a proven track record of high-quality research and publications in reputed journals. Applicants with patents registered/high-valued projects will have an added advantage
- Must hold a Master’s degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with a minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) for both degrees. Those with Industry experience will be preferred.
- Must have good communication and teamwork skills. Proficiency in English is necessary to communicate with students effectively
- Appreciation and willingness to live a disciplined life as per the code of conduct of the University, based on the basic human values as enunciated by Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba is essential
