Invited as chief guest for the Valedictory Session on the 27th March 2022, Prof. Madhu Kapani presented a paper on ‘Redefining Womanhood – Good Mothers are a Nation’s Pride’.
The paper explored the role of several illustrious, noble and brave Indian women, who brought honour and glory to the sacred land by their unflinching adherence to the ideals of dharma, shaping the ethos of the country. Through various anecdotes and examples, the paper emphasized how women with sterling virtues have not just been the very foundation of the nation and its pride upholding the culture of their motherland but also singularly responsible for the blossoming of children of character and thereby shaping them into potential leaders of the nation.
Prof. Madhu Kapani also shared the example of how Mother Easwaramma was instrumental in bringing to life three mammoth projects viz., Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning (Education), Sri Sathya Sai Super-Specialty Hospitals (Health), and Sri Sathya Sai Drinking Water Project (Water) that are offered free to the people. Thus, sharing how in every age it is the goodness and greatness of the mother that has made their sons illustrious exemplars.
The presentation was very well appreciated by the Pro-Vice-Chancellor Dr. B.H. Joshi of GLS University and the audience. Prof. Madhu Kapani was also honored with a Certificate and a memento at the event.
