The event, initiated by Rahul V. Karad in 2011, aims to sensitize students nationwide about actively participating in public life and politics. The Bharatiya Chhatra Sansad serves as a non-political platform to educate and empower the youth from over 25,000 colleges and 400 universities in India. The platform imparts lessons on democracy’s functioning and encourages students to assume leadership roles in political parties, social organizations, colleges, universities, and public institutions. The ultimate goal is to create an environment where educated and enthusiastic youth actively contribute to shaping a healthy and robust democratic system.
