Through practical demonstrations, he guided the attendees on harnessing the platform’s tools effectively.
Transitioning from the introduction, Mrs. Vaishnavi Ambade, Project associate, took the lead, detailing the process of accessing Shodh-Chakra through the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between universities and INFLIBNET. She elaborated on key features, including:
- Creating and maintaining scholar(s) and guide(s) profiles
- Utilizing the platform to navigate through millions of scholarly articles sourced from Shodhganga, Google Scholar, IRINS, Crossref, and other databases.
- Leveraging personalized resource spaces like ‘My Library’ for organizing scholarly materials.
- Managing administrative details such as scholarships, fellowships, and other pertinent information.
Additionally, she highlighted how Shodh-Chakra grants access to pre-populated Knowledge Resources, serving as a valuable starting point for researchers embarking on their projects. The session concluded with an interactive Q&A session, addressing participants’ queries.
Dr. M. Panduranga Swamy extended gratitude to all attendees, bringing the training program to a close.
