As a part of the journey towards sustainability, the Department of Food Nutritional Sciences, SSSIHL is organizing a two-day national symposium on “A Holistic Approach to Sustainable Food Systems: Integrating Agriculture, Nutrition, and Food Safety” on the 1st and 2nd March 2024. This two-day event will convene experts in agriculture, nutrition, and food processing, providing a unique learning platform to delve into the crucial aspects of sustainable food systems.

The symposium serves as a platform to explore and address key challenges in the realm of sustainable food systems. Participants will engage in focused discussions and gain expert insights on critical sub-topics such as sustainable agriculture, food processing, nutrition, and food waste management. Through collaborative efforts and knowledge sharing, our goal is to cultivate innovative strategies promoting food security, safety, environmental oversight, and public health.
