On 21st August 2024, the Department of Management and Commerce will celebrate the 39th MBA Day at the Brindavan Campus, honoring our esteemed alumni from the batch of 1992-1994.

This special event offers our alumni the opportunity to relive their cherished memories at Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning (SSSIHL) and reconnect with their alma mater. They will also engage with current students, particularly the freshers, sharing valuable insights and experiences from their professional journeys. These interactions are aimed at better preparing our students to face the challenges of the competitive business world.

The event will commence with an inaugural address by Prof. B. Raghavendra Prasad, Vice-Chancellor of SSSIHL. This will be followed by addresses from our distinguished Guests of Honour: Sri Alok Ohrie, President & MD, Dell Technologies, India, and Sri R. J. Rathnakar, Managing Trustee, Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, Prasanthi Nilayam.

Additionally, our alumni, Sri Pushkaraj Gumaste, Managing Director and Head of Corporate Banking, Asia Pacific & Middle East, Barclays Bank PLC, and Sri V. V. Eashwar Prasad, Head of Solutioning and Service Readiness, Ericsson India Global Services Pvt. Ltd., will share their experiences and insights.

The Department of Management Studies, inaugurated on 21st August 1986, has always placed a strong emphasis on ‘Values-Based Management’ and ‘Indian Ethos and Values’ at the core of its programs. The department remains dedicated to equipping students with the skills and mindset needed to thrive in a dynamic business environment.

This event underscores the enduring significance of SSSIHL, as our alumni reflect on how the institution’s teachings have been instrumental in their growth and success in the corporate world.
