Dr. Mahabala Rao M G has been working as Assistant Professor of Samskrit at SSSIHL since November 2012. His areas of interest are classical and modern Samskrit literature. (poetry, Upanishads, dramas and etc.). He attends seminars and workshops and writes spoken Samskrit dialogues to magazines.
He graduated from the Rastriya Samskrit Samsthan, New Delhi University in 2004 with Shastri (B.A.) in Sahitya. He pursued his masters in Sahitya and then went on to complete his Master of Philosophy in Sahitya in 2008 and Doctorate degree in 2014 from Rastriya Samskrit Vidyapeetham, Tirupathi. He has teaching experience at several schools in Bangalore. In the year 2012, he joined Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning as a Lecturer, where he currently serves as Assistant Professor.
