Sri Sai Anand graduated from Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning in 2007 with a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Biosciences. He completed his M.Sc. in Biosciences in 2009 and went on to complete his M.Phil. in the area of Microbial Biotechnology in the year 2011, also from SSSIHL. He then joined Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning as an Assistant Professor in 2011. Currently he is pursuing his doctoral degree in the area of Natural Products.
He is currently working as Assistant Professor with the Department of Biosciences, SSSIHL.

Screening secondary metabolites produced by endophytic fungi for anti-cancer, anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant activities, Extraction, purification and characterization of active compounds, Molecular Docking and Molecular Dynamics Simulations of the select compounds on relevant targets/pathways to understand the mechanism of action
