INTEGRAL EDUCATION EVENTS
SSSIHL XXXIV Annual Convocation - 22 Nov 2015
The Annual Convocation, held every year on 22 November, forms an integral part of the Academic Calendar for all stakeholders of SSSIHL. The sentiments of this special day are aptly reflected in the Oath that the students take on the Convocation ceremony, in the Divine presence of the Revered Founder Chancellor.
Grama Seva (Village Service) - 13-22 Oct 2015
For over 1300 young university students (and their teachers), nine days of their academic year is spent in the service of almost 300,000 village folk from over 150 villages. This includes distribution of food, clothes and other items, along with devotional singing, thus converting the food into prasadam.
SSSIHL Summer Course in Indian Culture & Spirituality - 17-19 Jun 2016
The Summer Course on Indian Culture & Spirituality is an initiative started by Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba in the early seventies with an objective to expose students of the University to the rich cultural and spiritual heritage of Bharath. It orients new students into Bhagawan Baba’s educational philosophy and gives them deep first hand insights into how they can directly benefit from this unique institution. This prepares them well to make the best of the rare opportunities that lie ahead of them.
SSSIHL Annual Sports & Cultural Meet - 17-19 Jun 2016
The performances during the four-day Annual Sports and Cultural Meet form an important part of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s philosophy of values-based integral education, practiced in all Sathya Sai educational institutions.

Life is a journey. The students here have to journey long. Hence, it is necessary to give them the skill, the enthusiasm, and the security that can take them happily along. Their hearts are pure, steady and inclusive. Elders should so behave that they do not tarnish their hearts or make them narrow or vengeful. They must be encouraged to enlarge their hearts and soften them through intensive social service.
